Six Peloton bikes across four states, every winner handled end to end
A national sports drink brand wanted a four-week, retailer-specific promotion with a high-value prize, on case cards, shelf talkers and prisms in a regional New England grocery chain.
6Peloton bikes awarded
4states, including a Rhode Island filing
$3,445approximate value of each prize
3 daysfrom drawing to first bike ordered
The challenge
High-value prizes mean more paperwork. Rhode Island requires registration for a prize pool this size and only accepts it by mail. Each winner needs a notarized affidavit and a W‑9. Every bike has to be ordered, shipped and assembled at the right address.
What Round did
- Mobile entry page and QR code, plus official and abbreviated rules drafted for the brand’s legal team.
- Rhode Island registration prepared and filed by mail in time to hold the launch date.
- A documented random drawing, with a 48-hour window to accept and a ranked list of alternates for anyone who declined or didn’t respond.
- Notarized affidavits and W‑9s collected before any prize was ordered, with every delivery address matched to the winner’s paperwork.
- Ordering and delivery: each bike ordered, delivery and assembly coordinated with the carrier, and the client invoiced winner by winner the way they asked.
Results
- Kept the planned launch date across four states.
- Nearly every entry came through the in-store QR code.
- The first winner was verified and their bike ordered within three days of the drawing.
- The brand did no winner management: Round handled every email, form, alternate and delivery.
